Dårlig Hjort
This is a pun on the norwegian expression “Dårlig gjort”. Paul van Brunschot at WSOC came up with the idea and I did the illustration and typo. This was printed on a limited edition of 100 t-shirts.

A design handbook we ( me, Christoffer Grav, Henning Sandum ) made for NILF (Norsk Institutt for Land- bruksøkonomisk forskning) during my final year at Westerdals. The handbook was to be used by inhouse designers with little (or no) actual design experience. The design is based on silhouettes and has a large colorpalette.
The different publications were each given a different number of silhouettes and colors, up to a maximum of 5. The handbook also contains detailed instructions for businesscards, letterheads, envelopes, posters and the annual report. This .pdf is a short version of the handbook, and shows some of the silhouettes, the colorpalette and the different publications.
I won 2 boards in Slipstreams designcontest
I’ll post some larger versions later tonight.

A poster I recently did for a metalgig at Betong (Chateu Neuf) in Oslo. Really enjoyed doing it, and I’m looking forward to the concert.

Did this a year ago. With penstyle, brushes and ink on A3.

Metal Merchants Festival started in january this year and is still going strong. It’s based on voluntary work, donations and many bands played for free. The line-up was pretty impressive, and the next one looks really promising too. Me and Multipleks made posters, fliers and t-shirts for them. I’ll get a photo of the finished poster and the t-shirt as soon as I find out where I stashed them.
Check out the official Metal Merchants site.

Poster for one of Oslo’s best metalbars, Hellawaits (it’s closed now, unfortunately), during Inferno. The typo was changed some before printing, and some more info was added by Multipleks.

This is a project we worked on in Studio3 at Westerdals School of Communication during fall 2008. Below is 3 (of 5 total) designs for Slipstreams -09 models. The job was sort of an inhouse competition, and I was lucky to get 3 designs printed.
The boards are silkscreened on top of a transparent, colored coating to show the woodstucture. The process took quite a while, and in the end we were (unfortunately) limited to choose between only 5 different colors for the transparent coating.
So, the colors are a bit different from the original designs, but I think the boards turned out really great.

Gritty, DIY, cut -and paste ad for the Scenography Course at Westerdals School of Communication in the first issue of Out of Step magazine.
